Alturas Foundation provided support for No Room to Answer, by Teresa Hubbard and Alexander Birchler at the Modern Art Museum Fort Worth, from September 2008 to January 2009. The survey exhibition included the debut of a new video, Grand Paris Texas, 2008, which remains a permanent piece of the Museum’s collection. The two artists live and work out of Austin, Texas, and are internationally known for their photographic series and video installations. Alturas Foundation is very pleased to help support innovative contemporary art produced by Texas artists. The exhibition subsequently toured to the Württembergischer Kunstverein, Stuttgart Germany and to the Aargauer Kunsthaus, Switzerland, in 2009. Further details about this exhibition are provided here.
